Understanding Strengths, Empowering Growth.

Royle Psychology is an independent Educational Psychology practice providing thoughtful, evidence-informed support for children, young people, families and schools across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.

Combining expertise across psychology, teaching and research, Royle Psychology offers a professional yet deeply person-centred approach, grounded in collaboration, evidence and compassion. We aim to make psychology accessible, practical and meaningful, helping children and young people aged 0–25 feel understood, supported and empowered to thrive.

Based in Altrincham, we work with all areas of special educational need, providing tailored support and practical recommendations that create meaningful change within everyday life.

Our Approach

Thoughtful Psychology, Meaningful Support

At Royle Psychology, we believe meaningful support begins with understanding. Our work is rooted in collaborative, person-centred and strengths-based practice. We recognise that every child and young person experiences the world differently, and we work closely with families, schools and professionals to develop a shared understanding of need, strengths and next steps.

We aim to provide recommendations that are clear, practical and genuinely useful within everyday contexts - whether at home, in school or across wider support systems.
