About Royle Psychology

Independent educational psychology rooted in compassion, expertise and partnership.

Our story

Royle Psychology was founded to provide families, schools and local authorities with timely, high-quality educational psychology support. Drawing on years of experience across mainstream and specialist settings, we work alongside the adults around a child to understand learning, behaviour and wellbeing in context.

We are a HCPC-registered practice committed to the highest professional standards. Every assessment, consultation and piece of training is shaped by current research and a deep respect for the people we work with.

Dr Beth Royle

HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist

"I started Royle Psychology to offer families, schools and local authorities a more personal kind of educational psychology — one built around relationships and genuine partnership, not just paperwork.

Royle Psychology is committed to thoughtful, collaborative work with the children, families and settings we support. Our services are practical, evidence-based and tailored to the needs of each child and each setting.

Working directly with children and young people is an important part of what we do. But the most powerful way we can help children thrive is by supporting and equipping the adults around them — parents, carers and educators — every day."

— Dr Beth Royle, Founder

Today, Royle Psychology brings together doctoral-level educational psychology expertise with a warm, family-centred approach. The team works alongside parents, schools and local authorities across the UK, offering assessment, consultation and training that's grounded in current research and shaped by real classrooms and real homes.

Every piece of work is led by an HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist and held to the highest professional and ethical standards.
